MG AutoTech works on vehicle software and electronics in Stuttgart: engine and transmission control units, access to locked ECUs, diagnostics and calibration. Our work ranges from near-standard everyday vehicles to bespoke high-performance projects—and we decide what makes sense for a particular vehicle after assessing it, not beforehand.
Scope of work
Four segments, one approach.
A near-standard everyday car and a bespoke high-performance build are worlds apart—in the work involved, the safeguards required and what can be promised at all. The sequence is the same across all four segments: assess first, decide next, then carry out the work.
AMG · M · RS · Porsche
Performance calibration for powerful production platforms and existing hardware upgrades. ECU and TCU are considered together, not in isolation.
Supercars
Technical project assessment and software solutions for Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, Bentley and other exotic cars. Control unit, software version and vehicle condition are checked before any commitment.
Bespoke high performance
Bespoke ECU/TCU calibration and experience with complex builds exceeding 1,500+ PS. The basis is hardware, fuel, thermal headroom and measured data — not a target chosen in isolation.
Working principle
No selling on assumptions.
Many enquiries look similar, but depend on the vehicle, ECU, software version, stored faults and objective. MG AutoTech therefore gathers the relevant information first, then recommends the next sensible step—even when that means doing nothing.

Range of brands
The brand directory lists 88 brands, including 24 with a dedicated technical page. For 70 brands, the scope is explicitly subject to a technical enquiry—nothing is promised before the installed control unit has been identified.
Supercars
Experience includes Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari (confirmed by the owner on 2026-08-04). This describes our background, not a promise to work on any vehicle from these brands.
High-performance projects
Our experience includes individually calibrated projects in the 1,500+ PS range. This too is a statement of experience, not a claim about a particular vehicle documented here.
Published projects
The project register contains 9 published profiles: 3 technical insights and 6 capability profiles. Documented case studies with measured results: none at present, because the supporting evidence is not yet complete.
Our customers
Private customers and workshops.
Vehicle work takes place in Stuttgart. Nationwide shipping within Germany is confirmed for the vehicle-specific Mercedes ELV/ESL emulator. Workshops and businesses with their own vehicle access use the separate B2B File Service. According to the owner, MG AutoTech has provided technical support to 150+ businesses; the confirmed B2B scope includes bespoke ECU/TCU file development, technical file review, order-specific file sales and technical partner support.
