Heavy trucks and tractor units
Whether a MAN, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Scania, Volvo Truck, DAF, Iveco or Renault Truck is technically suitable is assessed on the vehicle; the brand list is not a universal promise.

Power loss under load, limp mode, Euro VI warnings or irregular shifting cost operating time. MG AutoTech assesses engine and transmission software, ECU/TCU, live data and DPF, EGR, AdBlue, SCR and NOx systems for the individual vehicle.

Calibrate torque delivery, response and output only after checking condition, load profile and control unit.

Symptoms and search situations
Under traction load or on gradients, output is missing, road speed cannot be maintained or the transmission shifts repeatedly.
Torque or speed is limited. Fault codes, conditions and live data identify which system triggered the protection response.
Abnormal consumption, warnings, start restrictions or derating require separate checks of dosing, sensors, temperature and communication.
Urban duty, idle time, short cycles or a technical fault can inhibit regeneration. Loading and root cause are assessed first.
A communication failure, software issue or replacement unit may require programming, cloning/repair assessment or data-state recovery.
Engine, transmission, axle ratio, gross weight, cooling and duty profile must fit together; a generic passenger-car file is not suitable.
Vehicle and machine types
Whether a MAN, Mercedes-Benz Truck, Scania, Volvo Truck, DAF, Iveco or Renault Truck is technically suitable is assessed on the vehicle; the brand list is not a universal promise.
Panel vans, chassis cabs, tippers and service vehicles differ by body, payload, axle ratio, engine and controller generation.
Sweepers, refuse vehicles and powered carriers can be submitted for engine-side assessment. Brake, body, lifting and safety controllers are not inferred as part of the service.
Operating context, not a generic file
Payload, trailer, axle ratio, route profile, idle share and shift length define the load. Calibration must respect reserves, cooling, transmission and protection functions. Output or fuel figures are not promised without vehicle and duty data.
Euro VI DPF, EGR, SCR, AdBlue and NOx components form a connected aftertreatment system. One warning can have several causes; active faults are diagnosed first and are not treated as normal tuning work.
Workflow
Manufacturer, type, year of manufacture, engine, output, control unit and existing modifications are reviewed together.
Warnings, fault codes, live data and real use determine whether diagnosis, repair or software work comes first.
Only after the pre-check are the work route, required documents and a specific quotation agreed.
Send the right information first time
Send vehicle data, duty profile and fault information together where possible. Multiple vehicles are identified individually; fleet or mobile service is not assumed.

Clear scope
Brakes, steering, tachograph, driver assistance, body and safety controllers are not covered by an engine/transmission software statement. A technical fault is not concealed by a power change.
Power or emissions changes can affect approval, operating permission and fleet rules. Road use and the actual duty are assessed separately before implementation.
Frequently asked questions
Trucks, tractor units, vans, tippers and powered special vehicles can be submitted for a technical pre-check. Feasibility depends on the exact engine, ECU/TCU, software, transmission, emissions system and condition.
No. Gross weight, continuous load, transmission, axle ratio, cooling and duty profile have much greater influence. It must not be treated as a transferred passenger-car file.
Yes. Depending on the detected fault, the control system can activate protection or derating strategies. Codes, measurements and system checks determine the cause.
Temperature, journey duration, load, idle share, sensor values and existing engine faults can all matter. Diagnosis considers these conditions together.
No. Location, quantity, vehicle type and required work route must be agreed first. This page does not promise nationwide on-site service.
Cloning or repair can be assessed where unit, data access, replacement part and fault are suitable. Complete readability or plug-and-play operation is not guaranteed.
It depends on vehicle, change, evidence and operation. Technical approval, registration and operating permission are clarified for the vehicle before work.
